11:50 am	So... what now. Well, unlike 75% of Blue Garter that doesnt seem to be interested in raiding anymore, I still have a passion for it, and am very psyched for Sunwell. Have a big problem though.... no home! I took a look at the top guilds on Mal'ganis: Ascent: No need for pallies Aftermath: No need for pallies Elitist Jerks: EJ doesnt recruit... Aurora: This was my only real shot. They were actually recruiting for Sunwell, and I know a couple people there. However, since they picked up Arv, Jason, Bus, Tsu and Ranan, (less then a day after gbreak) my chances got VERY slim. As I understand it, they already had 2 solid pallies, and 1 trial. However, them picking up Ranan basically sealed the deal for me. That puts them at a solid 4 paladins, almost no need for a 5th. Additionally, if my app is discussed, I suppose Arv/Tsu/Jason would pull for me, but Bus is a maybe at best, and Ranan I think would be very against me. First off we'd be direct competitors for raid spots. Also, I'm sure he'd slam me for AFKness on trash, regardless of my reasons for it. Sadly I dont think Aurora is ever gonna happen for me. What options do I have left? Rebuild BG as a raid guild? 0-5% chance of that happening. We have AT BEST about 8 raiders left, so we'd have to reform every spot of the roster. Too much for me to do to be honest. Find a BT-guild on Mal'ganis? 5-15% chance. I went on a raid last night with Clan VXIX, a guild currently working on Gurtogg. Wow.... It was so spirit-killing. 2 hours to clear past Supremus. A SEVEN minute Najentus kill. 9 attempts to kill Teron. And the worst part, more silent on ventrilo then BG in the bad days. I dont think this is gonna be my solution. It made me want to ninja an epic healing ring and get kicked just to escape. Transfer to a top-level guild on another server? 85% chance. I see no hope on Mal'ganis at the moment. So maybe I wait the SIX WEEKS it will take for transfer cooldown to be up and find greener pastures elsewhere. Real gamble going this route cuz A. Sunwell may be out and halfway done by then, and B. Theres no guarantees it will be a good place to be. So, I'M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS!... I dont like any of those choices to be honest. For now I'm just gonna do Kara/ZA/SSC on my alliance paladin on Korgath. Hell, I havent DONE SSC in 5 monthes, so maybe that will be enjoyable. Current Mood: discontent (5 Comments |Comment on this)

3:25 pm	The next 2 weeks. We have a really really crucial moment coming up with the guild within the next two weeks. Bert, our Guild Leader, has been leading all of our raids for about 18 monthes. He does so much, making everyone prepared, figure out scheduling, motivating, group setup etc. So this is all getting passed on to Twentytwo for a few monthes while Bert is in Japan. And where does he get to take over leading at? A'lar, Vashj and Kael'thas...... good luck to him. The next couple weeks is gonna set the whole tone of the reign on 22. I hope he really steps and and takes over like FDR or something. Also makes me question how big my role in the next month or so is gonna be. I'm cautiously optimistic. (Comment on this)

8:57 am	We killed Morogrim Healing is hard. Like.... incredibally hard. Russta was taking up to 16k spike in damage... wtf Its really nice that we have Russta around, and now 2 MTs that I, personally am comfortable with. Obviously Bert is a god amongst mortals for our guild as we're always comfortable with him tanking. But ever since Magtheridon, Russta has been personally impressive to me. He's got really good 'court-vision', and really REALLY works for threat. We're talking generating 800TPS consistently, and up to 1200 TPS at the start of fights with lucky crits. All with a 68 dps weapon.... I'm contented with 2 guild members with insane playtime and dedication as the guild MTs personally. But seriously blizzard, stop with the massive spike damage fights, they are more stressful then needed. (Comment on this)

2:45 pm	Warrior pre-TBC I've been very AFK in many AV's lately trying to farm enough honor for some nice PVP gear while playing FF12/Beta. So far I've managed to get AB shoulders, Rank 10 Head and Chest, and a HWL Great Axe. Amazing stuff. Gonna go pick up my WSG pants when the current AV gets out. I'll have about 6k honor, and 7AB tokens, leftover with the following pieces I need to get: General's Plate Gauntlets. 12375 honor General's Plate Boots. 12375 honor Deathguard's Cloak. 6750 honor High Warlord's Quickblade. 22500 honor Gotta decide what order to get them in, I dont really expect to get everything pre-expansion, but we'll see. HWL Quickblade for tanking prolly bottom of the list since I can prolly get a decent rep reward weapon for tanking in the expansion. (Comment on this)
5:40 am	Revival. Many millenia ago, this was going to be a FFXI Livejournal... Lawl FFXI. I'm playing WoW and have been for 2 years or so and I love it and my guild, Blue Garter. 11:53 am	Havent dont this in a while. Since I havent updated since I was 34 bard, a quick recap.. Hooked up with Azure to do some leveling. He was leveling a sub Taru Wawwior! PT was war, war, rng, rng, brd, thf. Was nice since many were Azure's (tell me how to link your LJ name) higher level friends and were therfore blinged out pretty well. So we tore through Altepa Beetles. Of course, we had a 64 Whm (Aeriel) that Azure was 2-boxing ;-) It was amazing. This was like a week and a half ago. Bard ding! Not hard to do that when this is happening. More Bard ding! And still more Bard ding Just a pretty picture, lol. I also learned Seraph Blade in that party. Happy persons. Got to put on My Gambison @36 for true Bard pimpness....just ask Kamyla Got Bard to 40 in crappy pickup parties, so I was able to do Bard AF 1 dagger. Didnt take pics of cutscenes, for some reason that I'm not sure of. And unlocked Genkei 3 Meant to do this for Awhile now, but now that I did, the monkey's off my back. 4:12 pm	Myochin Kote equipped. Well, Demonhunter overslept after ~36 hours awake so bard PT didnt happen. Allowed me to watch some E3 specials I had Tivo'd from G4TV. Little later on I got an invite from a 55 Thf/Nin starting a PT. Came together pretty well. Though we had to settle on a 53 Pld for a tank, not ideal for PT, but good enough. I was @12000 when we started, but exp goes fast when you keep doing this... Taru Blm = wootz0r! Great INT + enough MP to not worry bout Freeze MP. Toward end of party, check out what I got.... And finally, after last battle, here's what happened to me. Myochin Kote is now Equiped and Fed. Tekko for sale @ AH for 25k. And Signet lasted all party. 2:39 pm	Bard 31->34 Quite a tasty evening last night....wanted to get Bard up some more, but was quite frustrated with the Noobness of Garliage. After about an hour of LFPing, I got an invite from Demonhunter, 35 ninja/warrior. Turns out, him and his friends are all lvl 70+ and were just leveling 2nd jobs. Boy am I glad I took invite. Setup: Elvaan Nin/war, Hume monk/war, Hume Rng/nin, Hume bard/whm, Taru rdm/blm and Galka Whm/thf <-? Worked out quite well cuz of Zjg, a 60+Rdm who was powerleveling us. Hence the galka whm/thf. Despite the 4 level gap, I was still getting Chain 5:240+ exp. SO I was thrilled. Plus, since powerleveling, I ate a Mithkabob (wow) and didnt need to play ballad (wowx2). Got Sword and dagger capped while doing this.... This... and this... And as a result of #3.... |/joy| |Dispel| Got invited by them to come to Gustav with them tonight too, maybe lvl ~37 by tommorow? 1:40 pm	Old-Two Wings Well, logged on Friday night, got a request from LS to come hunt coffer keys in Garliage. Of coures, I helped out as best I could. We had Jonmaster, pld (whos name escapes me), Yutaji, Chiccabo, Mictain, Elessar, Hybrid, and me. Got the keys for Chiccabo and Yutaji relatively fast. Heard horror stories about key hunts there, oh well. Party 1 Teleport-Vahzl out to do Warp 2 quest. 1 Person from that group missed teleport and joined up in ours, so we could sneak our way out. 5 of us then headed to entrance. Yutaji somehow saw Old-Two wings, a bat NM, on our way out. Course he was in a chain of bats from some BST =\. We camped just inside the banishing gate and started to pull and kill the nearby bats as fast as possible. Old Two wings just kept moving away from us, lol. Eventually, I was able to voke it, but it linked with a respawning bat. To make things worse, somehow we aggrod the 2 Demonic Weapons in the other room, yikes. So it made the battle interesting. Me, Elessar and Mictain all tanked various mobs, and luckily we had enough mp to keep everyone alive. We managed to take down old two wings, and the Bat Cape DROPPED! W00T! Sold Cape for 315k, so thats ~62k each. Bought a Noble's Bed and a few new bard instruments with my loot. Plan is to get bard to 40 by Friday and possibly get us a BCNM party going, cuz I'm poor. 4:07 am	Xarcabard, land of....boredom!? Logged on this evening with nothing inparticular to do. Got an early invite from Yutaji, 57whm and Chiccabo, 56whm, to go up to Xarcabard and hunt the Shadow Dragon up there. Fun stuff I thought. Chiccabo told us it has some nice drops or something, didnt matter to me.... We warped up to Xarcabard and started the hunt. Well, its a 30 minute pop, so bleh. We really accomplished little more then messing with floating eyes and whooping on Demons. 1st dragon was taken by 72 Blm who was unleashing tier III spells for 800-1000 each. But eventually, we got one and destroyed it. Tachi:Jinpu did up to 888 damage on it. Take that BLM. We took down 2 dragons and a few dark elementals but had little to show for it. We warped back to Dem, I plugged in FF:Tactics, logged and have been offline since, lol. Oh well =\ ^^ Either Mithras have high body heat, or Chiccabo is freezing cold in that outfit. 12:39 pm	Almost outta Valkurm with White Mage. Nother night in Valkurm. Just want to get to 20 so I can leave it and go back to bard, oh well. Took a few crappy invites from subjobless newbs, then got a decent looking PT invite. Sam, Mnk, Rng, Smn, Brd and Whm(me). We went for a few hours, and I got ~5k exp, which in valkurm, isnt so bad. Eventually, Dinor the Rng had to go so we got Misara, Thf. We continued chugging along till I hit 19, but @ that point I was so tired, I logged right there. Some joy after I leveled. More info later.
